The Political Social Worker
Well, it is over. Months of following the presidential campaign, live tweeting political party conventions, debates, stump speeches, and volunteer work has all come to an end. I’m happy with the results. President Obama gets another four years, Congressmen Tim Bishop (D-NY) won a tough re-election bid, a record number of women will be serving in the United States Senate, and marriage equality won the day. So now what? After all that blogging and all those hours volunteering on the congressional campaign I don’t quite know what to do with myself. However, that is not to say there is nothing coming up on the horizon.
The Political Social Worker blog will keep going and it will soon be moving to self hosting and getting a make over. I am now acting as the Director of Community Development for socialworkhelper.com and I will be helping them continue to grow. Furthermore, plans are in motion to establish my own consulting agency. I have been considering documenting this endeavor here on the blog.
